This is my first post for a new blog that will revolve around education, family, students and ensuring that we focus on the right manner in which we can ensure that our children grow up to be successful. I want to get back to the basics, reading, writing, arithmetic and encouraging and seeing that we create good citizens. I want to see the focus on what's right for children, not what is going to benefit teachers and the unions. We must reward success, reward good students, reward innovation and rid the system of those who are merely there to get their sinecure retirement. We have to break the cycle, and we start here, we start now. One school at a time, one student at a time, one dollar at a time.

     The system is broken and in order for the future of this great nation there must be change, and not the change that we have recently seen to merely get elected to have proven to be duplicitous. This is the time for action, and we must do this not just for us but for our children, our children's children and so on. Our children are being saddled with debts, for which they are not responsible for, and for which politicians believe they know best, and they believe that taxpayer money is theirs, and not the peoples. It is all a big circle...

     We need to give our children the tools to make their own decisions and not the brainwashing they are receiving now. Agenda driven education is detrimental to our children's future. This must stop. The NEA, the teachers union is so powerful, but they are not invincible. We must rally together and take back what belongs to the people!
